For the long term streng­t­hening and expansion of our “Nuclear Fuel Rail Logistics Business Unit (BES-RW)” we are seeking a Project Manager for Secure Ship­ments (m/w/d)

Your tasks and respon­si­bi­lities

  • Ela­bo­rating logistics solu­tions and trans­por­tation con­cepts in the nuclear fuels trans­por­tation field (radioactive ship­ments) with the main focus on secure ship­ments by road, rail and inland waterway
  • Pro­ducing the asso­ciated docu­men­tation and invol­vement in app­li­ca­tions for licenses
  • Pre­paring (trans­por­tation) studies, handling and action inst­ruc­tions and pre­sen­ta­tions
  • Inde­pendently planning, struc­turing, coor­di­nating and super­vising all project-related activities, including transport management
  • Taking respon­si­bility for sub-pro­jects, including cal­cu­lating and pre­paring quotes, project management, project con­trolling and project docu­men­tation
  • Moni­toring trans­por­tation and pro­duction pro­cesses during pro­cu­rement pro­cesses and approval pro­ce­dures
  • Invol­vement in the imple­men­tation and further deve­lopment of quality management in the area for which respon­sible
  • Invol­vement in the imple­men­tation of official and expert’s requi­re­ments for secure ship­ments

Your Profile

  • You have suc­cess­fully com­pleted your (bachelor)studies e.g. in mecha­nical engi­neering, security or freight for­warding, transport and logistics or have a tech­nical degree with several years of pro­fes­sional expe­rience
  • You have good know­ledge in the project management, project con­trolling and quality assurance areas and pos­sibly have a basic know­ledge of MS-Project
  • You already have initial expe­rience in cal­cu­lating and pro­ducing quotes
  • You pos­sibly already have expe­rience in the ela­bo­ration of working inst­ruc­tions, (transport) studies and pre­sen­ta­tions
  • You pos­sibly already have know­ledge of the transport and logistics area
  • You will pre­ferably have already been able to acquire initial know­ledge of dealing with dan­gerous goods regu­la­tions and/or of the radiation pro­tection and nuclear tech­nology areas
  • You have business fluency in English, both spoken and written
  • You have a talent for orga­ni­zation and work in a very careful, precise and struc­tured manner
  • Relia­bility, fle­xi­bility, taking care and a precise method of working are a matter of course for you
  • Your per­sonal profile is rounded off by a pro­nounced ability to work in a team, com­mu­nicate and resolve con­flicts with internal depart­ments and external ent­ities (customers, aut­ho­rities and sup­pliers
