For the long-term streng­t­hening and expansion of our “Nuclear Fuel Rail Logistics” business unit (BES) we are looking for a Project Manager for Nuclear Fuel Ship­ments (m/f/o)

Your tasks and respon­si­bi­lities

  • You organise national and inter­na­tional ship­ments of nuclear fuel pro­ducts (Dan­gerous Goods Class 7) and con­ven­tional heavy ship­ments for the nuclear industry
  • You inde­pendently manage logistics ser­vices for your pro­jects (planning, moni­toring, eva­luation, accounting)
  • You work with car­riers for rail and maritime trans­por­tation as well as with the ports
  • You ensure smooth customs clearance for our ship­ments in close coope­ration with customs agents
  • You create trans­por­tation con­cepts, agree them with various internal depart­ments and coor­dinate our logistics partners
  • You assist our col­leagues with app­li­ca­tions for trans­por­tation permits
  • You inde­pendently process inquiries and work out cor­re­sponding offers
  • You maintain inde­pendent con­tacts with our customers, aut­ho­rities and logistics partners
  • You are respon­sible for the imple­men­tation of dan­gerous goods and safety requi­re­ments for the safety-related trans­por­tation of uranium pro­ducts (by rail)

Your Profile

  • You have suc­cess­fully com­pleted an appren­ti­ceship as a for­warding agent, freight for­warder or for a Bachelor’s degree in the transportation/logistics field
  • Ideally, You have pro­fes­sional expe­rience in the inter­na­tional freight for­warding industry and in the management of dan­gerous ship­ments (RID/ADR/IMO)
  • You have know­ledge of customs clearance pro­ce­dures and project ship­ments
  • Relia­bility, fle­xi­bility, taking care and a precise method of working are among your strengths
  • Effi­cient com­mu­ni­cation and working in a team are a matter of course for you
  • You have a high wil­lingness to learn as well as initiative and self-moti­vation
  • You have a good know­ledge of spoken and written English
  • You are willing to travel on business both at home and abroad
  • Your per­sonal profile is rounded off by very good com­puter skills (MS Office)
